Sweet cornbread and chili recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray or lightly grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder. Stir in egg, milk and vegetable oil until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the oaf comes out clean.

- 1 pound(s) ground turkey
- 1 large (about 1 cup) onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano leaves, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 3/4 cup(s) Swanson® Chicken Stock
- 1 cup(s) Pace® Chunky Salsa
- 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
- 1 can(s) (about 15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can(s) (about 16 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
Directions
- Heat the oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the turkey, onion, chili powder, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until the turkey is well browned, stirring often to separate meat.
- Stir the stock, salsa, sugar, beans, and corn in the saucepan and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
